MotoRevolution came about due to my desire to reduce waste, a love for the hidden beauty within wood, and an accumulation of old motorbike parts, many of which I have owned and raced!

I have combined these to produce a range of items – mainly variations of lamps – to show and highlight the natural essence of the wood, but then to compliment it with the solidity, structure and in some cases the hardness of the metal parts.

Most of the lamps are not designed, not planned, but they seem to just evolve as each part is added, and then the wood is used as a transition to hold them all together. Some take just a few hours to complete, whilst others may take weeks, where I am constantly changing, or re-organising until the desired effect is achieved. The designs have evolved over time, and are now influenced by Steampunk or sci-fi aspects, taking them off into different directions or genres.

These are all unique items, each one is different (unless I’m deliberately making a pair) and so if you purchase one, you will be in possession of the only one in existence!!

Due to the way that these are made, we can potentially produce an item from anything (within reason!!) so if you have any treasures from your past that you want to keep for sentimental reasons, and would like them incorporated into a lamp, then we would be pleased to work with you to achieve this.
